Advanced Certificate in Alternative Assessment

This Advanced Certificate is for learners who already know the basics of Alternative Assessment and want a deeper, usable command of the subject. The seven modules move from advanced principles and evidence, through methods and tools, to stakeholder practice, case work and a portfolio. It is also the first of the three pathways inside the Executive Development Programme in Alternative Assessment. The enrolment fee is one hundred and forty-nine pounds.

1. Advanced Principles of Alternative Assessment: Examines the ideas that experienced practitioners rely on in Alternative Assessment.: Evidence and Analysis in Alternative Assessment: Shows how to read, question and use evidence in Alternative Assessment.
2. Applied Methods for Alternative Assessment: Practises the methods used to carry out Alternative Assessment work.: Tools and Frameworks in Alternative Assessment: Works with the tools commonly used to organise Alternative Assessment work.
3. Stakeholder Practice in Alternative Assessment: Covers how to work with the people affected by Alternative Assessment decisions.: Case Work in Alternative Assessment: Applies the modules to realistic Alternative Assessment situations.
4. Professional Portfolio in Alternative Assessment: Brings the work together as evidence of professional practice in Alternative Assessment.
